"Joining the CLD was the wonderful happening with me during the recent pandemic and having Shykha Shafalia as my teacher is the best thing ever to me in my life. Alhumdulillah I’ve been with CLD for more than 2 years now and I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my recitation of the Quran and my understanding of Islam.
My Shykha has been exceptional in ensuring that I have a good understanding in tajweed rules and in making sure I improve on my weaknesses with every lesson. Her level of commitment towards her students is beyond my words. My boys love her lessons and try to follow these with their best capacities. She is able to nurture the love for Allah SWT through her words.
She has encouraged and motivated me and many others to stay on target with our tajweed, and has always been a driving force to recite Quran regularly and with correct mukharij and rules. "I attend the advance Recitation class and Arabic Medina beginner Level. My children attend Qaida/Arabic/online madrasa. On the whole I have found CLD Tutors very professional and hardworking. Learning Arabic is like a dream come true for me at this stage in my life (with family and work commitments). Everyone works really hard at CLD to bring us first class Islamic teachings in the comfort of our homes. The courses provided are extremely helpful in two ways; the first being free of charge because I know good quality teaching costs a lot. I am not of the opinion that Islamic teaching should be free of charge all the time but it is amazing and truly beneficial that CLD can offer this opportunity to everyone and some families have dependant relatives overseas and cannot afford the tuition.
Secondly, the convenience of being online as nowadays everyone is very busy and cannot take the time away from other commitments to attend Islamic classes. In addition, CLD Alhamdulillah unites all muslims globally and we can learn together as an ummah and benefit each other. I am very happy with how all the courses are structured and learning material is available to catch up with anything that you miss.May Allah swt reward everyone at CLD with goodness in this dunya and aakhira. "I realized I needed to start my Qur'an reading from scratch. In the past I used to read the Qur'an but thought I only needed to improve my tajweed and fluency. How wrong I was!
I came across CLD institute on Facebook - Raya's memorisation page and in my first class with Shaykaah Shafalia I quickly understood I had to relearn the articulations and pronunciations of each letter. Each week I have gone from strength to see strength. Shaykaah has a way of teaching that is both warm and engaging. And she knows each student's strength and weaknesses, always encouraging and takes time to correct my mistakes. I look forward to my classes every Saturday morning at 5:30am, early I know but worth it! The fact that the lessons are free and only for the pleasure of Allah is amazing. "Qaidah + Tajweed class for brothers. The quality is excellent. The teachers are very good and the service on a scale of 1-10 if I was to rate it. I would give a solid 8. The reason it is an 8 rather than a 10 is because I feel the classes could be more simplified as a lot of students start a course and then get overwhelmed by the amount of detail which causes the students to leave. But I would definitely recommend this and I hope for the success of such an organisation".

This is general feedback for the Sunday Medina book 1 class. This is a well structured class. Our teacher Ustdha Marwah ma sha Allah explains the lesson well and gives chance to each member of the class to actively participate in reading and completing the class. I think the only thing missing is if we can do some writing in the class although this is very difficult in short space of time. May Allah bless all those involved with CLD institute and all those who are trying to learn the Arabic language in order to understand the words of our creator. Ameen"

"Qaidah + Tajweed is a well designed & well structured course which helps someone who has not studied Tajweed before to be able to read Al Qaida Nooraniya.
Ustaad Abdul Hafeez has helped me to identify and correctly articulate Arabic letters and words from the correct articulation points. He has also helped me to understand basic Tajweed Terminology and to appreciate the characteristics of each individual Arabic Letter. In shaa Allah I am hoping to continue with Tajweed to the diploma level and recommend people to study Tajweed and take advantage of other Islamic courses provided by the institute"
